Vancouverite Wins the Experience of a Lifetime!

Congratulations are in order! We’re thrilled to share that Lorena B. from Vancouver, BC has won our trip of a lifetime from Holidays for Humanity, and Shannon C. from Ottawa, Ontario has won coffee for a year from Ethical Bean!

Ethical Bean and Holidays for Humanity teamed up to offer the Experience of a Lifetime on an all-expenses paid trip to one of three coffee producing countries! Entries were collected between October and December of 2014, and winners were drawn and contacted over the holidays.

Lorena is a new Ethical Bean Coffee drinker, after learning about our coffee through a friend. She tells us she’s leaning toward the Relax Holiday in Nicaragua, and we can’t blame her, it looks amazing!

I really enjoy the staff at ethical bean, the pastries are also really tasty. The one thing I usually find is that its far too darkly roasted, almost burnt – and that medium roasts. I recently had a great experience when I tried a clover of Exotic, which was delightful – and tasty. For the medium roasts, I think they could use a bit more taste and a little less ‘burnt’, but that’s personal preference.
