Wednesday, February 4th
21st Annual JCC Sports Dinner
Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver – The auction fundraiser is an integral component in raising funds for the Jewish Community Centre with an attendance of 800+, attracting affluent sports and business communities of Vancouver. Funds help provide scholarships to attend summer camps, teenagers to attend the JCC Maccabi Games and seniors to participate in an array of programming.

Friday-Sunday, February 13th-15th
Royal City Mixed Spiel
Royal City Curling Club – Royal City Curling Club is a non profit organization located in New Westminster. The club has over 1,000 members ages 12-55+. The facility provides competitive and social curling. They are hosting a Mixed Curling Bonspiel February 13th-15th, and our gift-pack is one of the many raffle prizes. Sunday, February 15th
12th Annual Women’s Tea Event
Spinal Cord Injury BC – Our women’s tea provides women living with spinal cord injury and related disabilities a chance to feel special, to be pampered, and to socialize in a women-centered space. Our high tea includes a silent auction and a take home bag of treasures. The tea will be held on February 15th, 2015 and will host between 75-100 participants. Your generous bid on items, including an Ethical Bean Coffee gift-pack, will help us raise much needed funds and provide a special and meaningful event for our female members. Friday, February 20th
Pink Shirt Ladies Luncheon
– Blue Water Café in Yaletown – This event raises funds for Pink Shirt Day which benefits the anti-bullying programs run by the Boys & Girls Clubs of BC, Red Cross Respect Ed Program, and Kids Help Phone (to name a few). Saturday, February 21st
The Coldest Night of the Year Walking Fundraiser
Blue Sea Philanthropy and First United Church – The Coldest Night of the Year is a fantastically fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 65 communities across Canada. Ethical Bean Coffee will be providing coffee and hot chocolate to walkers at two stops on the 2, 5 and 10km route. The walk provides participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness while raising much needed revenue for their favourite local charity. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised $4.9 million dollars through the tireless efforts of each of our well known and well respected location partners (charities). Chinese New Year Celebration 2015Family with Children from China BC (FCCBC) – The FCCBC is a network for families in British Columbia that have adopted children from China. Their Mission is to provide a peer group for parents and children, schedule events reflecting the culture of the children’s birthplace. They provide information on adoption to members and others interested in adopting from China, and help educate on the experience and issues of adopting children from China. The FCCBC also fundraise to benefit children still in orphanages in China. Their family celebration of the beginning of the Year of the Sheep will be taking place at the Floata Restaurant in Vancouver. Look for Ethical Bean Coffee gift-packs as prizes.

Saturday, February 21st
Dash for Dogs
– RunGo – RunGo was inspired by a retired guide dog that Craig, the founder, adopted named Dynasty, so we are giving back by having Dash For Dogs with 100% of proceeds going to BC and Alberta Guide Dogs. This will be a fun, non-competitive, run or walk through Stanley Park in Vancouver BC. There are no set start times so participants can start anytime between 9am to 11am on February 21, 2015. This unique event will have no race markers and will be navigated digitally by using the RunGo App. Expect unconventional categories for prizes, free food and Ethical Bean Coffee and surprises! Wednesday, Feb 25th
TREK’s movie fundraiser night
TREK Program at Prince of Wales – TREK is an outdoor education program located at Prince of Wales Secondary School. Education about the natural environment and sustainability are fundamental components of the TREK Program. A core component of the Trek philosophy is that students should understand how the natural world has an impact on their daily lives, and in turn, what kind of impact their daily lives have on the environment.
TREK’s movie fundraiser night is Wed. Feb 25, 2015. Ray Zahab; adventurer, youth organizer, runner, will talk about his run across the Sahara desert. For more information check out the VSB website or their Facebook page.

Friday, February 27th
‘Selkirk Royale’ Casino Night Fundraiser
Lord Selkirk Elementary School – Lord Selkirk Elementary School is holding a casino night ‘Selkirk Royale’ to raise funds for the school. Lord Selkirk School is East Vancouver’s largest and most diverse elementary school. All funds raised will go towards bringing core assets and technological learning resources into Selkirk. Saturday, February 28th
42nd Anniversary Gala Dinner & Art Auction
Western Front artist-run-center for contemporary art and new music – Ethical Bean Coffee will be served at the gala dinner and auction being held at 303 East 8th Avenue. The evening features a live art auction of works generously donated by over 30 artists, music performances, a cocktail reception and dinner by Hawksworth Restaurant. Proceeds support Western Front’s year-round art and music programs.
