Impact 360Dress For Success – To connect, inspire, and commit donors and clients to join together and support each other in building confidence and helping to remove barriers to employment. Friday, June 5th
Parkcrest Spring Carnival – Parkcrest Elementary School – Parkcrest Elementary School, we Value: Positive self-esteem, Academic Success, Respect, Knowledgeable life-long learners, Creative, critical thinkers, Right to learn and take risks, Extra-curricular activities, Safe and supportive environment, and Teamwork. Event: The Carnival includes a bouncy castle, dunk tank, joust with bungee, face painting, carnival games, food and much more. There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction that includes an Ethical Bean Coffee giftpack. The event is from 4:30 – 8:30 pm.

Friday, June 5th
– Upper Lynn Elementary School – The Upper Lynn School Community serves to assist each and every student in realizing their full potential in an atmosphere that promotes healthy intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth. The Upper Lynn 2015 Carnival promises to be fun-filled event in which participants can enjoy the camaraderie of friends and family. This is a community event.

Run For H20
Gwatermala – Ethical Bean Coffee will be served at the RunforH2O, a Vancouver-based charity run that strives to help bring clean water to rural villages in Guatemala. Gwatermala exists to inspire awareness, compassion, and generosity for people in need. Their vision is simple: to help communities gain access to clean water so that they can build a sustainable future.
Gwatermala’s RunforH20 will be held June 6th, 2015 at Riverfront Park and will feature a 10km run with family friendly options of a 5km run/walk, a 1km kids run, and a 50m toddler dash.

Student Awards Gala SFU Business Administration Student Society – SFU Business Administration Student Society is a student-run organization that hosts various events and programs for 3000+ undergraduate students at the Beedie School of Business. Their mission is to create an engaging Beedie experience for SFU business students by providing leadership opportunities and events that bridge together students, alumni, faculty members and industry professionals. This coming June 2015, BASS will be hosting its annual Student Awards Gala event, which celebrates the accomplishments made by dedicated student leaders and volunteers who have made an exceptional impact in the Beedie community. The Student Awards Gala will feature a dinner, as well as an awards ceremony which will recognize various Beedie Business clubs and all that they have accomplished. Appreciation will be shown to the award recipients by having door prizes (including an Ethical Bean Coffee giftpack) and raffle draws throughout the evening. Vancouver Mini Maker Faire – 2015 sees us celebrating our 5th Vancouver Mini Maker Faire and our 4th at the PNE Forum. Each year the number of exhibitors and presenters increases, and this year’s Makers List includes some wonderful new Makers joining us, along with many of returning Makers bringing new projects. Plenty of our Makers will be running free or low-cost activities at their booths, to give attendees the opportunity to learn about and try their hand at new skills. Spring Dance FundraiserCompaigni V’ini Dansi – Compaigni V’ni Dansi is a Vancouver-based traditional Métis and contemporary dance company dedicated to sharing the dances, stories and culture of the Métis. The Spring Dance Fundraiser is a family oriented dance at the Russian Hall, and Ethical Bean Coffee will not only be served, but a giftpack will also be up for auction. A Magical Evening FundraiserCelebrate The Child – Celebrate the child is about celebrating the joy of youth, the importance of living in the moment and having fun. The annual magical evening fundraiser is held every year around the founders’ son’s birthday, who passed away suddenly at the age of six. All proceeds raised go to children’s charities. They select a different registered charity every year. This year’s show will feature two time World Champion of Magic winner, Shawn Farquhar, a live band and a silent auction that will include giftpacks from Ethical Bean. Pub Night FUNdraiserChildren of the Street Society – Children of the Street’s mission is to take a proactive approach through public awareness, education and early intervention strategies to prevent the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children and youth, while offering support to families and victims. Ethical Bean has donated a giftpack to the 6th Annual Pub Night FUNdraiser, an event that helps fundraise for the workshops they provide to over 25,000 kids in BC every school year. Nature Show, Nature TellSemester In Dialogue and CityStudio – CityStudio is an innovation and leadership hub inside City Hall where staff, citizens and students from 6 post-secondary institutions (BCIT, ECUAD, Langara, SFU, UBC, and VCC) co-create solutions making Vancouver more liveable, joyful and sustainable. CityStudio convenes stakeholders, defines problems and creates solutions while developing student skills and retaining the talent of next generation. Using the “teaching hospital” model inside City Hall, students are redefined as key problem solvers in cities. Since 2011, 50 city staff, 75 faculty 93 professionals and 3000 students have contributed 75,000 hours of new projects and public sector innovation in Vancouver. Event Description: Join CityStudio on a thought-provoking journey through the natural world that is guaranteed to captivate your senses! Nature Show, Nature Tell is an interactive event that will be put on by CityStudio students on June 24th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm at Everett Crowley Park. This event will focus on showcasing the experiments that students have been working on throughout the semester for the Outdoor Learning Project. These experiments aim to create discussion about outdoor learning and the many forms it can take within the park and the city.
