Accordion Noir Society – Accordion Noir Festival – The Accordion Noir society (est. 2011) exists to promote the use of free-reed aerophone instruments and the enjoyment of listening to the music they make on all different kinds of squeezeboxes, both in a pre-recorded, broadcast (and podcast) context and in a setting of live music performance, both in and around our home of Vancouver, BC, Canada, and to wider audiences.

Triathlon British Columbia – Triathlon BC Athlete Gala – Triathlon BC’s Mission Statement is “Triathlon BC develops, supports and promotes the sport throughout the province by providing opportunities to participate and compete.” Our Gala and Silent Auction celebrates an evening of excellence, honoring the accomplishments of community champions, recognizing the tremendous contributions these volunteers, athletes, race directors, coaches and officials have made towards the advancement of our sport.

FITT Cardiac Association – Rhythm Of Life Run – The Rhythm of Life Run 5K /10K and Kids 1K Run /Walk is celebrating it’s 18th year working in the Burnaby community. The event is a fundraiser supporting the work of the Burnaby Hospital Healthy Heart Program and FITT Cardiac Programs in the community. Participants are treated to a Post Race BBQ and live music from Cover Band Freedom 95.

HUB Cycling – Bike the Night – HUB Cycling is a registered non-profit charity that has been working for nearly two decades to make cycling in Metro Vancouver safer and more attractive. HUB organizes events like Bike to Work Week, Bike to School Week and Bike to Shop Day and also conducts bike education in schools, at workplaces and community centres. Bike the Night is a night ride which aims to celebrate cycling in a fun and unique way, get more people on bikes in Metro Vancouver and raise funds for HUB Cycling. Starting at Granville Park, thousands of people on bikes will pedal the streets of Kitsilano and Shaughnessy, as well as the newly paved Arbutus Greenway.

Arts Undergraduate Society (UBC) – StARTup 2016 (Faculty of Arts Orientation) – stARTup is a multi-faceted two-day orientation event on the 17th of September that serves as a sneak peak to what life in the UBC Faculty of Arts could be like! It is an event where strangers meet strangers and transition into best friends. An event where seniors and juniors team up as a family and set the foundations for strong friendships and university networking.
MISSION: To create an orientation event that will serve as a stepping- stone for both transferring and incoming first year Arts students by establishing community at the start of their university experience, and providing a feel for the next few years of their university life.
VISION: To host a successful and fulfilling large-scale event that excites the incoming students and also serves as a milestone for future orientation events held by the Arts Undergraduate Society.

Nobleking Knights Major Peewee – Knight Out Dinner & dance Fundraiser – We are currently planning our 4th annual “Knight Out” dinner and dance fundraising event. The Knight Out Dinner & Dance will be at Caesar’s Event Centre on September 23 2016. This evening consist of an evening event with 200-250 team parents, friends and family in hopes of raising funds to further our children’s team building skills, technical skills and overall confidence which are important characteristics that young children can benefit from in all facets of life.
We are hoping that you would consider contributing any products, gift certificates and/or attend our event, any donation would be greatly appreciated. We will also be presenting all donors names, addresses and logo (if supplied) on our table cards and banners at the entrance of our event for all our guests to be able to see and take home with them for future reference.

Canadian Cancer Society – 2016 Gift of Hope Gala & Fashion Show – The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
The gala welcomes more than 300 of our city’s corporate and philanthropic leaders for an evening of fine dining and great entertainment. The evening includes a private reception, live and silent auctions, an exclusive seated banquet and live entertainment as the finale.

Dragon Zone Twisted Hips – Dragon Boat Fundraiser – Dragon Zone Twisted Hips is an amateur sports team, based in False Creek. We are a group of dedicated and spirited paddlers from various backgrounds with the same passion and love for dragon boating!
Come for a night filled with laughs, prizes and entertainment! You don’t need to have a paddle in hand to help us compete! Join us for a 50/50 draw, prize raffles, live music and much more.
Tickets are $20, includes admission and your first beer and burger!
Funds raised will go towards registration for various festivals in the lower mainland and, hopefully, beyond!
